What cartridges can be recycled?

At the moment we can only recycle HP LASERJET TONER CARTRIDGES, however we hope to add HP INK CARTRIDGES to the list in the near future.

Are these cartridges refilled and resold by HP?

No.  The cartridges are crushed and melted down, and the materials are used to create other items such as auto parts or even new printers!

Is Alphasoft receiving funds for these recycled cartridges?

No.  Any expenses such as the cost of the container, picking up the used cartridges, shipping them to Miami and coordinating with our freight forwarder to pick them up, are all covered by Alphasoft Ltd. with no reimbursement for the cartridges.

Do I have to fill in a form to sign up?

No, there is no form or paperwork to fill in.  All you have to do is start storing your used cartridges, and when you're ready to have them picked up, email us at recycling@alphasoft.com.ky with the name of your company or directions to your business and the precise location of the cartridges.

Does Alphasoft provide bins for storage?

We do not provide bins due to the overwhelmingly positive response to our program and therefore the prohibitive cost involved.  Most companies have purchased their own bins or are storing used cartridges in other containers.
